Sex Started in the Garden - Return To Paradise! Ten Tips for "Planting"
Your Perfect Mate

Los Angeles, CA--Now is the time to "plant" ahead for Valentine’s Day with a few special choices that will put some beauty in your garden and some romance in your life.

"Plant your garden to get your guy," recommends garden designer Pamela Berstler, co-owner of Flower to the People. "Over my years in garden design I have found it amusing how many plant names should get a man thinking about the birds and the bees!

"The key to using this strategy successfully is memorizing both the common and the Latin names of these few unusual plants. While the two of you are wandering through your garden, use the common name at an auspicious moment (try to keep a straight face), but keep the Latin name on hand to remind him that you’re not just another pretty face."

Here are the ten plants Pamela recommends:
  • 1. Adam’s Needle (Yucca filamentosa)
  • 2. Bachelor’s buttons (Centaurea cyanus)
  • 3. Cigar plant (Cuphea ignea)
  • 4. Devil’s tongue (Amorphophallus konjac)
  • 5. Golden shower tree (Cassia fistula)
  • 6. Hercules’ club (Aralia spinosa)
  • 7. Honey balls (Cephalanthus occidentalis)
  • 8. Narcissus (Narcissus)
  • 9. Passion flower (Passiflora)
  • 10. Red-hot pokers (Kniphofia)
