·         Tours of Tacoma’s notable museums featuring works from international glass artist Dale Chihuly (a Tacoma native), Indian and Alaskan artifacts from the Pacific Coast, and more.

·         Maritime activities, including a visit to the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum where, in conjunction with the festival, authenticated pirates’ journals will be on display for viewing.

·         Kayaking and parasailing opportunities along the waterfront.
